With the new love for theatrics fashion designer Valentino is looking to create costumes for the Vienna Philharmonic New Year’s Concert. Since Valentino is a retired designer this news to do costume is a shocking one. It is said that Valentino will be creating costumes for the 2010 concert which is a tradition on Austria and will be seen by fifty countries. The concert is held in the Austrian city every year on the morning of Jan. 1.
The idea that fashion designers are reaching into costume design is a good thing in my opinion. I like the idea that they are going above beyond what they are accustomed to doing. I hope that it is a good result for Valentino especially since he has retired. I look forward to seeing his creations in 2010!
