Microsoft has revealed that the Windows 7 program will be released just in time for the holidays. Although its official release isn't too far away, engineers have also disclosed that work on Microsoft's latest program is far from complete. With this being said, Microsoft has generated the "Windows 7 Game Plan." This course of action includes making the program available for download as a release candidate and transitioning it into release-to-manufacturing mode all before becoming available for customer purchase.
Microsoft is spending these last few months and therefore time in between to look for serious flaws and fix any compatibility issues that may exist. This "Game Plan" is very much needed to ensure that all remaining kinks and creases are ironed out. It would look really bad on Microsoft's behalf if all problems are not fixed before its actual release date. I think that if there's as many issues suspected with this new Windows 7 program, then the release date should be pushed back until early 2010. No sense rushing something that will only cause greater headaches. Time and Patience is ALL it takes.
