This season designers have been favoring a new shade of color. Shades of blue seems to be the new color for this spring. In the Aquascutum's spring 2009 collection it favored almost all shades of blue, from a soft baby blue to a sophisticated navy. With purple in close to the blue family it is another color that will have a lot of blue in it this season, you will be seeing a lot of blues and purples together. When these colors mix they create what is being called "periwinkle blue". Blue is color that is works well with most colors and can be both formal an informal.
Back in my April post I wrote a blog about the colors of the 2009 season. I didn't mention anything about the specifics of the color blue. it is good to see that some are getting more specifics with their color choice. Designers such as Valentino and Gucci are two that are in favor of the color for the season. I love the color blue and purple and i look great in it! so I'm glad to see this color more!
