In a flashback scene on tonight's episode of Gossip Girl they visited the eighties. "Settling into a strong-shouldered jacket, tiered dress and electric pink Givenchy heels." This is also a mini-preview of the Gossip Girl spinoff about young Lily and Rufus. We already know that Gossip girl is known for its great sense of style. It is a show that is complemented for it great sense of style. When they decided to have the flash back series i was all to excited to see how it would portrayed in 2009. I was impressed by their influence on the fashions of 009 and how it played a role in the scenes. Yes it was an eighties flashback and it was all about that eras style but everything they wore in the episode is something that we wear now, they hipped it up for or generation. So it was interesting to see how the eighties influenced us and how influence how the eighties used to look.
